How much does SpareOut cost?
SpareOut is a flat CAD $4.99 per month (or $50 per year). There is no commission on your rentals — you keep 100% of what you earn, whether that's $50 or $5,000.
Why a subscription instead of a commission?
A flat fee rewards repeat rentals instead of taxing each one, and removes the incentive to take deals off-platform. With SpareOut, more rentals mean more value for you — not more cost.
What can I rent on SpareOut?
You can rent tools and DIY gear, trailers and moving equipment, cameras and event gear, spaces like parking, storage and commercial kitchens, local help by the hour such as moving help, handyman and tutoring, and outdoor gear like kayaks and e-bikes — from both individuals and local businesses.
How does SpareOut keep rentals safe?
